New York is officially known as "The City of New York". It is one of the influential
and important cities. It is located in Northeastern United States approximately
halfway between Washington D.C. and Boston. It has become the hub of
international finance, education, communications, politics, music, culture,
fashion, film and music. It has been more than a century now that it is known for
the main centers of finance and commerce. It is also a leading centre off foreign
affairs and hosting the head quarters of United Nations. New York City has
marked its stamp globally either directly or indirectly in the form of media, politics,
entertainment, fashion and arts. It is also famous for its world class museums,
theatres and art galleries.
